The first 10 universities which join UPLIFTT will be able to participate in profit sharing from all licensing successes that take place

As an example :

University of X joins as a member of UPLIFTT (no cost to the university – commit to perform licensing activity through UPLIFTT for assets selected at a predetermined financial structure)
University of Y has a portfolio that UPLIFTT successfully licenses for $500M Net of revenues coming to UPLIFTT is $200M
A profit sharing pool is set aside for UPLIFTT member universities $6M (as an example)
University of X while not the university which provided the patents for the successful licensing receives $600K for its DEI efforts (assuming University of X is part of the first 10 member universities)

ULIFTT supports licensing of portfolios of patents from various universities and provides an objective way for sharing of revenues

As an example :

Non-exclusive licensing from Universities X, Y and Z where each university has 10 patents
UPLIFTT will create a “pool” of patents which are still assigned to the universities and provide revenues back to the university in a fair and equitable way from licensing
In situations where a SEP is created or the patents become part of a SEP, UPLIFTT will negotiate on behalf of the Universities.
